This hand-built clay travel mug is thoughtfully crafted using traditional ceramic techniques rather than a pottery wheel, giving it a distinctive, organic character. Each mug is shaped by hand through slab-building or coiling methods, resulting in subtle variations that make every piece one of a kind. The walls are carefully smoothed while preserving gentle textural details that highlight the maker’s touch.
Leave your piece with us to dry and bisque fire, then we will text you when ready to come back and glaze. If you would rather we glaze it for you, choose from a variety of colors. This project takes approx. 3 weeks from building to completion.
Total cost of class is $38 for one travel mug, includes instruction, all materials, glazing and two kiln firings. A $10 deposit reserves your seat and the remainder is due the day of class, minus the deposit.
